Some of the coolest vintage art I have encountered to restore and recycle comes from the covers of antique tourist guide booklets and brochures. With the advent of public libraries and museums making millions of images from the past available to artists and designers through the public domain, I found myself fascinated by certain images from old books, maps, tourist guides and advertisements. I wanted to find a way to recycle and repurpose some of my favorite ones so I started restoring them by digitally cleaning them up making repairs where necessary and even colorizing some of them. Then I match them up with the perfect products to print them on and post them for sale in my shop. I strive to add value to each design or artwork and to make them unique. Many can be customized by you at no extra cost. I hope you enjoy browsing the collections and that you find some nostalgic work that you just cannot live without! Thanks for stopping in!
