Recycled Vintage Art

With the advent of public libraries and museums making millions of images from the past available to artists and designers through the public domain, I found myself fascinated by certain images from old books,maps,tourist guides and advertisements.  I wanted to find a way to recycle and repurpose some of my favorite ones so I started restoring them by digitally cleaning them up making repairs where necessary and even colorizing some of them. Then I match them up with the perfect products to print them on and post them for sale in my shop.   I strive to add value to each design or artwork and to make them unique.
